A well designed and installed sprinkler system will require little maintenance, but over time, some moving parts will have to be replaced and adjustments will be needed as the landscape changes.
Most systems need to be checked and serviced at least twice per year due to our warmer climate. However, established systems or those that have been modified and added to usually require the attention of a service technician about four times a year. The frequency depends on changes in the landscape, the age and type of system, and other construction activities that may have damaged the system.
